Interlocking Eternity Circles Earrings

About the Interlocking Eternity Circles Earrings

Interlocking circles often symbolize eternity, unity, or a devoted bond. Handcrafted in the Pennsylvania studio of jewelry designer Ian Gibson, a solid circle of sterling silver is interlocked with a larger circle of 14k gold-fill. Each hammered hoop features a wire wrap of the opposite metal to provide engaging visual interest and balance. The linked hoops dangle upon sterling silver leverback closures with an overall drop length of 2".

What is gold fill?
Gold fill is the term used when a layer of authentic gold is permanently bonded to the surface of a jeweler's metal. Gold fill is much thicker and valuable than gold plating or gold electroplate. It cannot flake off or turn colors, providing the beauty and functionality of gold as an economical alternative to solid gold.
