About the Hardwood Black Walnut Utensils Set
An alternative to imports and plastics in the kitchen, functional utensils handcrafted of natural, native American hardwoods provide safe functionality and peace of mind. Wood is safe for all cooking surfaces and won't scratch pans. Handmade in West Virginia, these utensils consists of solid, locally-sourced hardwood walnut wood finished with food-grade beeswax. The naturally dark color of black walnut brings a handsome and upscale style to the kitchen. The 5-piece set includes a standard spatula, thin spatula, angled spatula/stirrer, pie server, and scoop serving spatula.
All utensils measure 12.5" to 12.75" long, except pie server:
Pie Server (shortest utensil) size = 11.5" long x 2.75" wide
Standard spatula (longest utensil) size = 12.75" long x 3" wide
Care for your solid wood utensils: To clean tough residue, use a Scotchbrite® pad (or similar scrubber) with dish soap and warm water. Dry with a towel or allow to air-dry - as with all wood utensils, they are not recommended for dishwashers. Occasionally oil your utensils with natural coconut oil, mineral oil, walnut oil, or beeswax using a paper towel or dry cloth.
