About the Blue Waltz Sculpture
With a playful, contemporary style, our artist draws upon his background in architecture to craft sculptures that reflects an appreciation of natural materials and modern design. Ideal for the office or home, this tabletop sculpture features mingling bands of wood and blue aluminum, artistically bent into eye-pleasing curls. The curls are pierced by a single rod of steel, supported by a cube base crafted of solid walnut. Artist-made in Ohio.
Wood details: Walnut is a hardwood native to Eastern and Central North America with dark brown grains that continue to enhance with age. A clear finish enhances and showcases the natural grains - no stains are used. Clean with a dry microfiber cloth, brush, or duster as necessary to remove dust. Harsh cleaners are not recommended for natural wood or aluminum.
Note: The creation of thin wood veneer strips results in slight, natural imperfections along the grain edge. These coarse edges are normal and not a defect.
