About the Carved Poppy Stoneware Mug

A delight to hold and a sight to behold! The handmade process begins with raw clay shaped on the potter's wheel into a comfortable hourglass shape. A field of poppy flowers is meticulously carved on the surface and hand-painted with a variety of glaze colors in red, yellow, orange, and green. A thick, comfy handle is sculpted and the creation is kiln-fired to a strong, permanent finish. Perfectly functional, the durable stoneware pottery mug is lead-free, microwave safe, and dishwasher safe. Holds at least 14 ounces of your favorite coffee, tea, or beverage. Made by hand in Pennsylvania. Mugs sold separately.
