About the Flatware Finch Garden Stake
A fusion of industrial intelligence with artistic vision, vintage flatware finds a fabulous new home as an admirable addition to any outdoor area! Constructed by hand, forks, spoons, and knives take shape as a sweet little finch that gently rocks and sways in the wind. With the help of a spiral and sturdy counterweight in the shape of a birdhouse, the imaginative finch balances upon the inside of an outstretched spoon. Although the bird can be picked up, the inventive use of the spoon's natural bowl shape prevents the finch from from falling off.
Flatware finch includes a 35" steel stake that allows the balancing bird to peek above garden plants. Handmade in Minnesota.
Note: The stake and spiral are crafted from raw steel. Once exposed to the outdoors, these elements will rust to create further contrast with the stainless steel flatware dragonflies. Due to the use of vintage flatware and silverware, the handle styles will vary with each sculpture, making each a one-of-a-kind creation.
