Individually handmade, this versatile platter begins life as raw clay, sculpted into an organic flower shape and high-fired to a permanent work of functional art. The platter is ideal for a fruit bowl, serving dish, centerpiece, or decorative accent while the handsome Midnight Blue glaze blends beautifully with many decor styles. The durable stoneware pottery is food-safe, lead-free, cadmium-free, microwave safe and dishwasher safe.
Handmade in North Carolina and signed on the bottom.

Note: Stoneware is safe for oven, microwave, refrigerator and dishwasher use, but should not be used with a direct flame or on a stove-top. As with all pottery, stoneware should not be placed in a refrigerator when the surface is hot, placed under water when hot, or in a stove/microwave when chilled. Always begin from room temperature or close to room temperature.
