About the 10" Mixed Hardwood Bowl
An alternative to imports and plastics in the kitchen, functional works handcrafted of natural, native American hardwoods provide safe functionality and peace of mind. Made in Indiana, this all-wood bowl consists of locally-sourced hardwoods laminated into alluring stripes. The hardwood types may include maple, cherry, sycamore, black walnut, red elm, hackberry, poplar, ash or hickory, all sustainably harvested in the Eastern US. The bowl is finished with food-grade organic linseed oil and ready to use. Measures 10" outside diameter x 2.25" high.
Care for your solid wood: To clean tough residue, use a Scotchbrite® pad (or similar scrubber) with dish soap and warm water. Dry with a towel or allow to air-dry - as with all wood utensils, they are not recommended for dishwashers. Occasionally oil your utensils with a natural oil such as coconut, mineral, walnut, linseed, or beeswax using a paper towel or dry cloth.
