About the Pink Forget-Me-Not Flower Necklace
Native to Europe, dainty forget-me-not flowers have long been a thoughtful addition to arrangements and an enduring, sentimental symbol popular in literature.
Missouri artist Jenny Walker captures the beloved flower in a wonderful work of jewelry. The lovely pink color is the result of vitreous enameling, the process of firing hand-painted glass powder on metal at a temperature of 1400-degrees for a smooth, permanent application. Each flower is fired 3 times with layers of enamel to create an organic, variegated appearance in the color. The forget-me-not flower bouquet is secured to a chain of dark, oxidized sterling silver with adjustable hook, also of oxidized sterling silver.
Necklace length is fully adjustable from 15" to 18".
