About the Walnut Wood with Maple Inlay Long Pill Box
The perfect little crush-proof, pocket-sized box with room for pills, toothpicks, or tiny treasures. Handmade of solid walnut wood, the box features a stripe inlay of spalted maple that provides a handsome contrast. Best of all, the box lid has a hidden dovetail design that slides back to reveal the interior. Made in Illinois, the box also may also be used a presentation box for jewelry or small gifts.
Wood details: Each box is constructed of all-natural hand-polished hardwoods with a clear, protective finish. Stains are not used. Walnut and maple are tough woods native to North America. Though the walnut color is typically consistent, the spalted maple stripe will vary (see images).
