About the Purple Petunia Cascade Earrings
Renowned for bountiful blooms, petunias are beloved by home gardeners around the world. Cascading from bronze stems, an eye-catching formation of large artisan-glass petunia blossoms catch the light as they dance from the ears.
Crafted in Connecticut, the metal foliage is solid high-quality bronze cast using the centuries-old 'lost wax method' from the artist's original sculpture and provided with a hand-finished patina of green. Glass portions are kiln-fired and cast by hand, in tasteful tones of purple with slight variations that reflect the variant beauty of nature. The large flower earrings measure approx. 2.25" long and include sterling silver ear wires plated with 24K gold.
Please note: Because the artisan glass is hand-cast, small variations are to be expected and adds unique artistic character.
