About the Woven Bread Basket in Midnight Blue
A classic style that never loses appeal! Individually artisan-crafted in Seagrove, North Carolina, the basket is shaped by hand with woven braids that encircle the exterior. The American-made glaze is applied by hand and the pottery is high-fired in a kiln to a strong, permanent finish. The midnight blue color reveals shades of deep blue, aqua, and earthy brown with a clean, glossy shine.
Measuring 14" long, the bread basket is ideal for serving bread, storing fruit, or as a handsome centerpiece. The durable stoneware pottery is lead-free, non-toxic, microwave safe, and dishwasher safe (top shelf). Signed by the artist on the bottom.

Note: High-fired stoneware is safe for the oven, microwave, refrigerator and dishwasher, but should not be used with a direct flame or on a stove-top. As with all pottery, the item should not be placed in a refrigerator when the surface is hot or in a microwave when chilled. Always begin from room temperature or close to room temperature.
