About the Solid Cherry Wood Kitchen Tongs
An alternative to imports and plastics in the kitchen, functional utensils handcrafted of natural, native American hardwoods provide safe functionality and peace of mind. Wood is safe for all cooking surfaces and won't scratch pots or pans. Handmade in Indiana, the kitchen tongs are crafted with locally-sourced hardwood cherry finished with food-grade organic linseed oil.
The tongs feature grooved teeth for gripping and a flat bottom that allows them to stand upright. A safe alternative to plastics, the serving tongs are all-natural, food safe, cherry wood with a natural color that will deepen with age.
Care for your solid wood serving utensils: Simply rinse and dry off for everyday use. To clean residue, use a Scotchbrite® pad (or similar) with dish soap and warm water. Occasionally oil your wood utensils with natural coconut oil, beeswax, or similar using a paper towel or cloth. Allow to air-dry - not recommended for dishwashers.
