About the Spoon Rest
A functional favorite in every kitchen! Individually shaped by hand in North Carolina, the spoon rest is built from stoneware clay, glazed and high-fired in a kiln to a strong, permanent finish. The midnight blue color reveals shades of deep blue, aqua, and earthy brown with a clean, glossy shine. Perfectly functional, the durable stoneware pottery spoon rest is lead-free, food-safe, microwave safe, and dishwasher safe.
Due to the handmade process, casual imperfections (slight variations in shape and glaze) are to be expected.

Note: High-fired stoneware is safe for the oven, microwave, refrigerator and dishwasher, but should not be used with a direct flame or on a stove-top. As with all pottery, the item should not be placed in a refrigerator when the surface is hot or in a microwave when chilled. Always begin from room temperature or close to room temperature.
