Handmade in South Carolina, the White Sand collection brings functional artistry and coastal sophistication to any table setting. Individually shaped from white stoneware clay, each piece in the collection is hand-painted with a blend of soft-white and sandy beige glazes and twice-fired to a sturdy, permanent finish. Best of all, an integrated impression of intricate lace provides textural interest reminiscent of sand, shells, and sealife.

Measuring 9" wide, the shallow scallop shell bowl is ideal for serving appetizers, snacks, or a side dish. The durable stoneware is lead-free, non-toxic, food safe, microwave safe, and dishwasher safe. 

Note : each shell bowl is made by hand, so slight variations in the texture, lace pattern, and glaze are expected - making each piece as unique as the shells that inspire the collection.

Note: High-fired stoneware is safe for the oven, microwave, refrigerator and dishwasher, but should not be used with a direct flame or on a stove-top. As with all pottery, a hot dish should not be placed in a refrigerator or placed in water. Always begin from room temperature or close to room temperature.
