About the Calico Heart Hoop Earrings
Individually crafted by hand in Rhode Island, these lovely hearts joyfully dangle from gold filled hoops. Each heart begins as fine porcelain clay, formed by hand and kiln-fired to create a strong, luminous base. The calico floral pattern is silkscreened with a soft dusty rose background, followed by a second firing to permanently set the design. Next, each earring is lovingly hand-painted with shimmering 18k gold details before a final firing seals the gold and brings the art to life.
Lightweight with a 1-3/8" overall length, the earrings feature 0.75" gold-filled hoops with a minimalist hook-and-eye loop closure. Floral, feminine, and timeless!
Please Note: Each pair is individually silkscreened by hand, and the floral pattern varies slightly. Combined with the hand-painted 18k gold details, every pair a one-of-a-kind work of art.
