About the Cranberry Marsh Stoneware Wine Cups

Handmade in North Carolina, the Cranberry Marsh Collection features functional stoneware with a glossy deep-red and mottled mossy-blue glaze that drips organically, reminiscent of cranberries growing along a misty shoreline.

Thrown on the pottery wheel with durable stoneware clay, the wine cups are strong and suitable for daily use. Each is hand-shaped with a curved form that fits snugly in the palm of the hand, allowing the feel and solidity of the smooth clay to be caressed, as was appreciated by our ancestors. Unlike traditional stemware, these cups have a low, stable center-of-gravity, making tip-overs far less likely. Kiln-fired to high temperatures, the stoneware is lead-free, non-toxic, food-safe, and dishwasher safe. Each holds approximately 14 fluid ounces.

Note: Each piece in the Cranberry Marsh collection is discreetly hand-signed on the bottom by the studio, along with the heartfelt inscription 'Jesus Saves’ (see photo). This is a quiet reflection of the artists’ personal faith and reflects the spirit imbued into each handmade item.
