About the Artisan Glass & Gold Plate Pink Dogwood Earrings
Jewelry artisan Michael Vincent Michaud has studied extensively with some of America's finest glass artists and institutions and collaborated with his acclaimed father on jewelry collections for museums around the world. Today, Michael combines his knowledge of glass working, his experience in jewelry creation, and his keen sense of design to create colorful works of wearable art.
Little dogwood blossoms of pink consist of recycled glass, cast by hand with the artist's designer color blend and given a satin finish. The lovely pink glass creations are complemented by drops of hand-formed bronze leaves layered in 24k gold with a matte finish. The coupling creates an exquisitely tasteful color combination. The earrings measure 2 inches in drop length and include sterling silver gold fill wires.
