About the Mixed Wood Cheese Board
An alternative to plastics in the kitchen, functional utensils handcrafted of natural, native American hardwoods provide safe functionality and peace of mind. Made in Indiana, this all-wood cheese board consists of locally-sourced hardwoods laminated into attractive vertical stripes. Wood types may include maple, cherry, walnut, oak, hickory, or ash. Finished with food-grade organic linseed oil and includes an integrated cheese slicer of stainless steel. Note: stainless steel slicer portion is manufactured outside of the US by Prodyne with a long-lasting slicing wire.
Care for your wood : To clean tough residue, use a Scotchbrite® pad (or similar scrubber) with dish soap and warm water. Dry with a towel or allow to air-dry - as with all wood utensils, it is not recommended for dishwashers. Occasionally oil your wood with natural coconut oil, mineral oil, walnut oil, or beeswax using a paper towel or dry cloth.
