About the Old Glory Barrel Head Flag Art
Display the good 'ol stars and stripes of the American flag with a rustic, artisanal charm! Crafted from a genuine bourbon barrel head, the Old Glory Flag is milled to reveal a 3-dimensional contrast between the charred surface and natural interior of the kiln-dried white oak lumber. Protected with a clear lacquer, the natural colors of the barrel are preserved, free from stains or screenprints. Each authentic 21-inch barrel head originates from a distillery in Kentucky, West Virginia or Missouri.
The reverse is reinforced with a plywood backing and includes large sawtooth hanger and tag that depicts the bourbon brand. Designed and proudly made by hand in West Virginia.
Note: due to the weight (approx. 9.5 lbs), be sure to hang on a stud or similar reinforced surface.
