Individually thrown on the potter's wheel with durable stoneware clay, the mug is provided with a comfy handle and sculpted with a sly opossum playing dead (playing possum). With a classic white glaze and hand-painted decoration, each 14-oz mug is kiln-fired to a permanent finish that is microwave safe, dishwasher safe, lead-free, and food-friendly. Individually made by hand in the Pocono Mountain region of Pennsylvania.

Note: Stoneware is safe for oven, microwave, refrigerator and dishwasher use, but should not be used with a direct flame or on a stove-top. As with all pottery, stoneware should not be placed in a refrigerator when the surface is hot, placed under water when hot, or in a stove/microwave when chilled. Always begin from room temperature or close to room temperature.
