About the Purple Petunia Brooch
Renowned for bountiful blooms, petunias are beloved by home gardeners around the world. Rising from bronze leaves, an eye-catching formation of artisan-glass petunia blossoms elegantly catch the light.
Crafted in Connecticut, the metal foliage is solid high-quality bronze cast using the centuries-old 'lost wax method' from the artist's original sculpture and provided with a hand-finished patina of green. Glass portions are kiln-fired and cast by hand, in tasteful tones of purple with slight variations that reflect the variant beauty of nature. The flower brooch measures approx. 3" high and includes standard bar pin on the rear.
Please note: Because the artisan glass is hand-cast, small variations are to be expected and adds unique artistic character.
