Individually handmade, this versatile lidded dish begins life shaped on the artisan's potter's wheel, followed by hand-applied glazing that is fired to a strong, permanent finish. With a coordinating lid and hand-sculpted spoon, the dish is ideal for hot or cold servings of a sauce, gravy, relish, topping, or side dish. Durable, lead free and non-toxic, the handsome Tuscan Farmhouse glaze is an intriguing blend of earthy beige, brown, and blue colors applied by hand. The durable stoneware pottery is microwave safe and dishwasher safe and holds an approximate volume of 20 ounces.

Spoon Note: the bottom of the handmade spoon is unglazed, just as is the bottom of all pottery. The unglazed portion is high-fired stoneware pottery and is safe to use with food, similar to unglazed clay cookware. The bottom of the spoon can be more susceptible to stains from harsh liquids, but remains safe for microwave and dishwasher use.
