About the 'Wedding Couple' Framed Pewter Art
Handmade in Ohio, our pewter metal artist creates fantastic little works of art that blend a sense of storytelling with fanciful imagery and heartfelt symbolism. The Wedding Couple is a delightful depiction of a newly married couple clasping hands. Using the artist's hand-sculpted mold, the design is cast in solid pewter with a method that captures the patterns, textures, and facial expression with great detail. The finished pewter art is mounted and custom-framed behind glass with blue and white mats in a layered, shadowbox style. Black wood frame measures 7x8 and includes an integrated sawtooth hanger on reverse. Signed by the artist on the front mat.

Pewter is a white metal alloy consisting of tin with small amounts of antimony and copper. Traditionally used for kitchenware and jewelry, modern pewter is completely lead-free and safe. Best of all, pewter is durable, has a pleasant warm silver color, a soft shine, and does not tarnish.
