About the Woven Stoneware Pottery Serving Basket
Classic style shaped in solid stoneware! Individually handmade in South Carolina, the basket is intricately hand-woven in traditional form with strips of natural, workable clay. The American-made glaze is applied by hand and the stoneware pottery is high-fired in a kiln to a strong, permanent finish. The pale-white color adapts tastefully to any decor and features a clean, glossy shine.
With a 10" interior, the versatile basket is ideal for serving bread, storing fruit, or used as a handsome centerpiece. The durable stoneware pottery is lead-free, food-safe, microwave safe, and dishwasher safe (top shelf).

Note: High-fired stoneware is safe for the oven, microwave, refrigerator and dishwasher, but should not be used with a direct flame or on a stove-top. As with all pottery, the item should not be placed in water when hot, a refrigerator when the surface is hot, or in a microwave when chilled. Always begin from room temperature or close to room temperature.
