Handmade in North Carolina, the Cranberry Marsh Collection features functional stoneware with a glossy deep-red and mottled mossy-blue glaze that drips organically, reminiscent of cranberries growing along a misty shoreline.

A kitchen favorite for centuries, the bean pot remains a relevant cooking vessel in today's modern kitchens. Hand-thrown on a pottery wheel, the functional Bean Pot allows you to soak, bake, and serve, moving directly from oven to table. The durable stoneware clay insulates food, keeping it warm when served and allows the bean pot to be used safely in the oven, microwave, freezer, and dishwasher. Glazed on the inside and outside for easy cleanup, the American-made glaze is lead-free and cadmium-free. 

How else can I use a Bean Pot?  Although designed with baked beans and legumes in mind, the versatile bean pot may also be used to create other flavorful dishes including:

• Chili, soups, and stews
• Fruit crumbles or cobblers
• Potato salad or side dishes
• Pot roast
• Warm dips like spinach artichoke

Note: Each piece in the Cranberry Marsh collection is discreetly hand-signed on the bottom by the studio, along with the heartfelt inscription 'Jesus Saves’ (see photo). This is a quiet reflection of the artists’ personal faith and reflects the spirit imbued into each handmade item.
