About the Victorian Grapevine Leather Journal

Handcrafted one at a time by skilled artisans, this premium leather journal is crafted from cowhide custom-tanned in a rich wine color and embossed with a Victorian-inspired grapevine motif featuring flowing vines, leaves, grapes, and birds. A solid hand-cast Britannia pewter button, detailed with a coordinating grape cluster, secures the journal shut with an attached rawhide cord. Within the leather cover is a replaceable 5.5" x 8.5" 208-page hard-cover blank book of heavy bond acid-free unlined pages, perfect for recording sketches, notes, diary, wine log, dreams, poetry, musings or your personal works of literature. 

The design appears on the front side only. All leather portions are tanned and hand-tooled in the USA. Pewter accent is individually designed and cast in the USA.

• Ready for a refill? Once the pages are full, it is easily refillable with a new blank journal book (also available separately, below), allowing the journal to be appreciated for a lifetime. Blank refills found here

• You may also use certain other A5 refill books! Though dimensions vary slightly between "standard" A5 notebooks a notebook that is similar to the A5 standard international paper size – 5.8 x 8.3 inches (148 x 210 mm) will work, just make sure that the spine isn't too deep (spine must be 7/8 inch or less).
