About the Honeybee Glee Mug
Adorned with honeybee stamps and impressions of real dried wildflowers, this slab-built mug is a little work of art for your coffee or tea! Artist-made in Wisconsin, the mug features a comfy, sculpted handle, sturdy rectangular bottom, and a 12-ounce capacity. The solid, high-fired stoneware is plastic-free, lead-free, microwave safe and dishwasher safe.
What does slab-built mean? Unlike mugs that are formed on a pottery wheel, this mug is built from a flat slab of clay. Each is uniquely folded and shaped in a multi-step process that also requires multiple days of kneading, glazing, and firing.

Note: Stoneware is safe for oven, microwave, refrigerator and dishwasher use, but should not be used with a direct flame or on a stove-top. As with all pottery, stoneware should not be placed in a refrigerator when the surface is hot, placed under water when the surface is hot, or in a stove/microwave after being chilled. Always begin from close to room temperature.
