About the Wildflower Blue Spoon Rest
Terra cotta pottery has been a favorite in the kitchen for 10,000 years. Today, our potters still build timeless functional works from the durable clay with a contemporary style. Made in Oregon, each item is intricately painted by hand with underglazes of rich color and provided with a durable lead-free glaze before being fired multiple times to 2000 degrees for a strong, permanent finish.
Inspired by antique Delft pottery from Holland, the Wildflower Blue motif features an intricate floral pattern in blue upon a contrasting backdrop of pure white. With its unique pattern and round shape, the spoon holder is a pleasing accent in the kitchen. Lead-free, food-safe, and dishwasher safe. Handcrafted one-at-a-time in Oregon.

Note: Terra Cotta pottery is safe for the oven, microwave, refrigerator and dishwasher, but should not be used with a direct flame or on a stove-top. As with all pottery, the tray should not be placed in a refrigerator when the surface is hot or in a stove/microwave when chilled. Always begin from room temperature or close to room temperature.
