About the Elliptical Horsehair Pottery Vases
These striking vases are skillfully crafted using a modern Native American pottery method to create compelling series of intricate black lines in the clay when fired, caused by residual carbon from actual horse hairs. The random, almost electric, effect is quite magnetic - we're drawn to take a closer look! The thick elliptical shape and thin black lip provides the vase with contemporary appeal, perfectly accenting any home or office. Choose from elegant white or eye-catching red! Sold separately. Handcrafted in Florida.
Note: Each vase is individually thrown and shaped by hand- slight variations in the color, shape, and surface may be present. Recommended for decorative use or dried flowers only, due to the porous characteristics of the crackled glaze and clay body.
