About the Blackbird Motif Oil and Vinegar Serving Set

Terra cotta pottery has been a favorite in the kitchen for 10,000 years. Today, our potters still build timeless functional works from the durable clay with a contemporary style. Made by hand in Oregon, each item is painted with multiple underglazes of rich color and provided with a durable lead-free glaze before being fired to 2000 degrees for a strong, permanent finish.

The 4-piece serving set includes one oil cruet, one vinegar cruet, a small dipping dish, and a square serving tray. The tall cruet bottles include high quality spouts that do not drip or corrode, while the tray has built-in handles and can be used in the oven. All pieces are dishwasher, oven, and microwave safe.

The Blackbird motif features rich black and white colors hand-painted atop the natural red-russet color of the terra cotta clay. To allow for variation between the two cruets, one features a blackbird on a branch, while the 2nd features a complementing periwinkle vine.
