About the Old Romany Motif Spoon Rest
Terra cotta pottery has been a favorite in the kitchen for 10,000 years. Today, our potters still build timeless functional works from the durable clay with a contemporary style. Made in Oregon, each item is intricately painted by hand with underglazes of rich color and provided with a durable lead-free glaze before being fired multiple times to 2000 degrees for a strong, permanent finish.
Individually painted by hand, the Romany Old Rose motif features an intricate floral pattern upon contrasting backdrops of black. With its unique pattern and round shape, the spoon holder is a pleasing accent in the kitchen. Lead-free, food-safe, and dishwasher safe. Handcrafted one-at-a-time in Oregon.

Note: Terra Cotta pottery is safe for the oven, microwave, refrigerator and dishwasher, but should not be used with a direct flame or on a stove-top. As with all pottery, the tray should not be placed in a refrigerator when the surface is hot or in a stove/microwave when chilled. Always begin from room temperature or close to room temperature.
